The DANGERDISKO launch was awesome! About a hundred of you party animals decided to turn Frangipani into a full blown night club and man was it awesome! There were loadsa alcohol (I woke up flat on my face the next day) and cupcakes(what?) to go around and man, were there A LOT of birthday parties. And i mean A LOT!
At first the night started out really slow. We were worried at first cos we literally heard crickets creaking. Nervous pearls of sweat started to form on my forehead as I nervously check my wristwatch. 10pm. Still no one. And then BAM! The crowd started pouring in. The night kicked off with DJ Adza from the UK warming the decks for us. At about 11pm, RoboTron 5000 and Dr. RobotNik were already handling each others knobs (and I don't mean that in a gay way) and the party went on till around 2.30am. Mad crowd. As everyone was drunk and dancing the night away, we managed to slip a few unknown heavy hitters onto our playlist with tremendous support, such as Redial, Fantastadon, Cryptonites, Van She, Little Boots and tonnes more. But by the time we were playing Robot Needs Oil and David Guetta, the crowd went bonkers! Well I guess mainstream electro does have its charm. Big props to those who made the rainy trip and made the party the wildest party Frangipani has ever seen!
